This year's Veterans Appreciation Week events will be held on both the Brighton and Damon Campuses from Monday, November 7 through Saturday, November 12. Please see the attached flyer for a detailed schedule of events for the week including:
- Dining-in event free to student veterans (see second attached flyer)*
- Screening of the Gold Star Children Documentary
- Veterans Resource Fair
- ADV and STARS Workshops
- Veterans Day ceremonies
- Call of Duty video game tournament
*A note on the dining-in event: It is being held on Tuesday evening, November 8 and is free for all student veterans and their spouses/significant others. John White, a veteran and Silver Star recipient, will be guest speaking. RSVP is requested.
Veterans Appreciation Week is co-sponsored by the STARS Project, the MCC Military Advocacy Program, and MCC Veteran Services. The dining-in event is co-sponsored by MCC, CompeerCORPS, and the PFC Dwyer Program.
