| The MCC Board of Trustees held its meeting in the Warshof Conference Center, Flynn Campus Center on the Brighton Campus on Monday, February 4 and took the following actions: |
1. Accepted the interim financial reports as of November 30 and December 31, 2012.
2. Authorized the transfer of funds ($64,102) from Instruction--Personal Services to Student Services--Personal Services.
3. Approved the Academic Calendar for 2015-2016.
4. Honored Richard Mackey for his service to the Board and designated him an honorary trustee.
5. Conducted an executive session pursuant to Public Officers Law Section 105, subsections (a) and (h).
The Board also heard presentations from the MCC Foundation and reviewed a new measurement/dashboard to track progress regarding Direction One of the Strategic Plan. Future presentations will focus on other directions of the plan.
This was the first meeting for new trustee Richard W. Hannon; he replaces Richard Mackey. His term runs through June 30, 2019. Mr. Hannon’s background is outlined on the MCC Board of Trustees web page.
