Diversity Equity and Belonging Reorganization Proposal

The Faculty Senate Special Committee on Administrative Affairs (SCAA) received the following proposal for the Reorganization of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging (DEB) Division (PDF).

As per the Senate Bylaws and Resolutions, SCAA will have five weeks to collect feedback on this proposal from the college community and provide a summary of the feedback and recommendations to the proposer. The proposer will then have two weeks to respond to the community’s feedback provided by SCAA. 

SCAA welcomes the college community to review the proposal and then participate in one or more of the following opportunities to provide feedback. All feedback is due to SCAA by the end of day Wednesday November 27, 2024. 

  • Discussion Board on the faculty senate Brightspace.  
  • Email feedback directly to the SCAA (scaa@monroecc.edu) 
  • Connect with any of the senators serving on SCAA 
  • Open forums hosted by SCAA with Vice President Dr. Calvin Gantt.

    • Downtown Campus
      • Thursday, November 21st
