MCC Scholars Program, University of Rochester's Warner School of Education
Since 2019, MCC has partnered with the University of Rochester’s (U of R’s) Warner School of Education to offer MCC full-time employees an opportunity to apply for the Accelerated Doctorate in Education (EdD). The program has received great reviews from participants, and U of R faculty identify MCC scholars as some of the best students with whom they have worked.
The next cohort for MCC Scholars is being planned for the 2025-2026 academic year! Up to five MCC eligible employees will have the opportunity to pursue an accelerated doctorate in education in Higher Education Administration with 50% of their tuition underwritten by a generous scholarship from the Warner School.
Participants in the MCC Scholars Program at the Warner School are responsible for paying all remaining tuition, fees, and educational costs; meeting all program requirements and maintaining satisfactory progress toward their degrees. Employees in the program are also eligible for MCC’s existing tuition reimbursement program.
