2004 Faculty-Staff Opinion Survey

Please find below a link to a copy of the MCC Faculty-Staff Opinion Survey.  The purpose of this survey is to gather employee perceptions regarding work climate and job satisfaction, as well as other information relevant to a number of important issues identified in the 2001-2005 Strategic Plan.  The data will provide a comparison to the 2001 baseline survey results from which the college can gauge improvement on key issues. The information will be especially important in our self-study for Middle States reaccredidation.

Although the survey appears long, it should take no more than 15-20 minutes of your time, a few minutes longer for faculty.  Your responses to the survey will be kept completely confidential.  Your name or identity will never be connected with your survey responses, and all reporting will be done on an aggregate basis.  Your honest responses are necessary to accurately assess our strengths and weaknesses.

While the Research Office realizes that this is a busy time of year for everyone, there really is no best time to administer a survey such as this. It is vital that everyone at the college responds by the April 30th deadline. This information will play an important role in the future of the College. I have assurance from the Research Office that the survey results will be shared with the entire College community early next fall.

Your opinions matter, and you can trust that they will be attended to carefully and will be used by the college as part of its Middle States Study.

The surveys have been distributed in inner office mail. If you need another copy, the survey can be found in the attached PDF. Surveys should be returned to Angel Andreu, Research Office, HYPERLINK "mailto:aandreu@monroecc.edu" aandreu@monroecc.edu.
