In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, the film Stand and Deliver will be screened and discussed on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 2:00pm-4:00pm in Room 4151 on the Damon City Campus as part of the Diversity and Community Studies Film Series at DCC.
In addition to the film’s theme of educational inequality, we will also discuss some of the current issues facing Latino and Hispanic communities in the U.S. As always, these events are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided, too.
This event is sponsored by DCC’s Student Events & Governance Association (SEGA), the Diversity & Community Studies Program, DCC’s Executive Dean’s Office and DCC’s Campus Center.
Please see the attached flier for more and we hope to see some of you there!
