McMurry Lecture Live and Live-Streamed

The English/Philosophy Department has invited Bryan Van Norden, of Vassar College, to give this year's McMurry Lecture. VanNorden will lecture on Learning From Chinese Philosophy. 

You can attend live on November 18, Noon to 12:50 in Room 5-100 or join by livestream at  Learning From Chinese Philosophy.

Bryan W. Van Norden is James Monroe Taylor Chair in Philosophy at Vassar College and Chair Professor in the School of Philosophy at Wuhan University, China. 

About Learning from Chinese Philosophy
Chinese philosophy is often ignored by contemporary colleges and universities, but Bryan Van Norden explains that this was not always the case. Van Norden promotes a return to multicultural philosophy with examples of distinctive philosophical debates originating in Chinese philosophy with profound implications for global awareness.
