The Honors Institute needs your help finding MCC’s most academically-talented students. All MCC students with a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA are invited to take Honors courses. However many of our brightest and most creative students have, for myriad reasons, GPAs below this threshold. This is where we need your help. Please email me the names and M-numbers of the students in your courses who show the intellectual spark, creativity, and maturity that distinguish Honors students. We are looking for students who are looking for an academic challenge.
Although I welcome your recommendations at any time, students are more likely to enroll in an Honors course if they are aware of this option before completing their fall registration. Note that fall registration begins March 15th.
