Final Call for Try Snorkeling & Scuba Event

This is the last call to sign up for the MCC Wellness Council’s first in-water experience.  Participants will be able to try both snorkeling and scuba and receive instruction by RU4 Scuba certified instructors, and will be equipped with a dive jacket, similar to the attached photo, to use for the event.

Don’t let modesty stop you if you do not have a wet suit or other water gear.  Shirts, shorts, leggings, or rash guards (long sleeve tops) are welcome.  Dress for time in the pool and your comfort.

As a reminder, the event is open to all MCC employees (including Foundation and Association employees). Spouses/significant others and/or dependent minors older than age fifteen are welcome to participate. Minors age 16 or 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

  • When: Saturday, April 26
  • Where: MCC Pool, with locker room access
  • Cost: $45 includes use of all scuba and snorkeling equipment

Class size and openings are limited and filling up, so sign up now!

This is a great opportunity for a unique experience to try snorkeling and scuba in a safe, pool environment.  Whether you are getting ready for your next vacation excursion or even just checking a box on your Bucket List.  Come out for a splash of a good time.

Questions:  email Darrell Jachim-Moore (djachim-moore@monroecc.edu); or call ext. 2185.
