Middle States Readiness Rally:
- Monday April 21st, 11am to 1pm, Brighton Campus, Building 3 Terrace
Come and join the Student Government Association and tell us how much you love MCC and compete in a spitfire trivia game! You will have the chance to win prizes including earbuds and a tablet!
Earth Day Event & Plant Sale:
- Tuesday April 22nd, 12 to 1:30pm, Brighton Campus, Building 3 Atrium
The Sustainability Steering Committee, Geo Department, Bio Club and Sustainability Club are hosting an Earth Day Event & Plant Sale! Learn and shop with: Cornell Cooperative Extension, Climate Solutions Accelerator, Little Shop of Hoarders, Citizens Climate Lobby, Reconnect Rochester, Impact Earth, and Eco Park.

Spread the word inclusion! Join the Disability Awareness Club to demonstrate and support what inclusion looks like to you. There will be a variety of fun activities, giveaways, food and drinks.
4th Annual Cardboard Boat Race:
- Wednesday April 23rd, 12pm to 1pm, Brighton Campus, Building 10 Pool
Join the Engineering Leadership Council (ELC) for their 4th Annual Cardboard Boat Race. “Float to win!” Entry requirement: A boat kit must be purchased from ELC for $10. If you win, enjoy an Amazon gift card and a trophy for bragging rights!
Open Mic Night!:
- Wednesday April 23rd, 4pm to 6pm, Brighton Campus, Building 12 North Atrium
The Student Music Association presents an open mic night! Come for music, singing, poetry, comedy accompanied by food and friends! You will have the opportunity to utilize a piano and electric or acoustic guitar as well!
35th Annual Yom HaShoah Commemoration Events:
- Wednesday April 24th, 9:30am to 11:30am, Brighton Campus, Building 3 Atrium
Join the Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Project for the 35th Annual Yom HaShoah commemoration event. We are celebrating the survivors, heroes, and scholars that have played a role in creating the project’s story over the last 35 years. There will be an opening ceremony in the Atrium at 9:30am, followed by the Calling of the Names and Candle Lighting from 10:00am to 11:30am.
35th Annual Yom HaShoah, Seeing History: A Conversation about Visual Storytelling:
- Wednesday April 23rd, 12pm to 2pm, Brighton Campus Monroe B
A live interview with Lynn Novick, who is the director and producer of The U.S. and the Holocaust, and WXXI News Morning Edition Host. Free and open to the public. Park in Lots M and N. Reserve your seats.
Criminal Justice Professional’s Day:
- Friday April 25th, 9:30am to 12:45pm, Downtown Campus, High Falls A/B
Join the Criminal Justice Club for their annual professional's day at the Downtown Campus! Have the opportunity to engage with different panels featuring a variety of law enforcement personnel.
Engineering Leadership Council (ELC): Come Build a Musical Robot:
- Saturday April 26th, 10am to 12pm, Brighton Campus, Building 3, Room 132
An ELC Semester Project! Join the ELC to build a musical robot.
Other News:
Robotics Club: On Tuesday, April 22nd, the Robotics Club will be sponsoring a local vendor who will be selling different goods and items on the Brighton Campus in the Terrace. Make sure to check it out!
