CLT-240: Molecular Diagnostics

Course Description

Molecular diagnostics is an integral part of laboratory medicine, and it is important that clinical laboratory professionals understand the molecular biology principles that are the underpinnings of molecular assays. This course introduces those principles and provides an overview of molecular diagnostics platforms commonly used in clinical laboratories.

Prerequisites

BIO 148 or BIO 155, each with a grade of C or higher; or permission of instructor.
