CLT-260: Medical Laboratory Technology Seminar

Course Description

In the final semester of the clinical laboratory technician program, the students transition from learning in classrooms on campus to hands-on practice in clinical settings. This course bridges those worlds and helps prepare the students to move into laboratory careers. It includes practice for the certification exam, reading professional publications, and communicating in and about the laboratory. A final project connecting the global health modules located throughout the program will be developed. Students will also learn about the licensure and certification application processes and prepare for job applications.
