MTH-065: Support for College Algebra

Course Description

A support course designed to reinforce Intermediate Algebra skills for students in MTH 165 (College Algebra). Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to, reviewing factoring techniques, simplifying polynomial, complex number, rational, radical and exponential expressions; and solving quadratic, rational and literal equations. MTH 065 is typically taken with specially designated sections of MTH 165.

Prerequisites

MCC Level 7 Mathematics placement, MTH 104 with a grade of C- or higher, or permission of instructor. Co-requisite(s): MTH 165
