Chef Evelyn Lannak Awarded Culinarian of the Year!

Chef Evelyn Lannak has been awarded the Culinarian of the Year by the American Culinary Federation Rochester chapter (ACFRoc). Chef Lannak is an Associate Professor in the Hospitality Department and has been teaching culinary and food safety & sanitation courses at MCC for over 8 years. Previous to her time here, she taught at the high school and college level in Charleston, South Carolina for a total of 27 years. Chef Lannak is passionate about teaching culinary and helping students find employment within our vast culinary community. Chef Lannak is the Marketing Chair for the ACFRoc Stockpot newsletter and is a member of the BOCES I and II Culinary Advisory boards. Congratulations to Chef Evelyn Lannak and thank you for sharing your passion with the next generation of culinarians!
