Middle States Update: Summer Progress and Upcoming Site Visits
Since May, the Middle States Steering Committee has been hard at work editing and refining the working group standard reports into a unified Self-Study draft that reflects the strength, complexity, and commitment of the MCC community. Over the past two months, we’ve carefully reviewed and integrated feedback from Steering Committee members and campus stakeholders. This summer, we are continuing to revise the report based on this input as we prepare to share the draft more broadly with the campus community and additional key stakeholders in early fall 2025. As part of our preparation for the upcoming site visits, we will also participate in a virtual SUNY mock visit during the week of September 15, which will include meetings with a select group of campus community members.
Save the Dates: Site Visits Confirmed!
These milestone visits are central to the accreditation process, and your engagement will be key to demonstrating MCC’s alignment with MSCHE standards and our continued commitment to student success and institutional effectiveness. Be ready to engage, participate in conversations, and speak with visiting evaluators about your role and MCC’s mission. Your voice and presence matter in demonstrating who we are and telling the MCC story.
