3/26, 7 to 9 pm: Women Speak, a Poetry Reading for Women's History Month

Please share with students:

You are cordially invited to attend a live poetry reading to celebrate Women's National History Month.  English & Philosophy faculty member Elizabeth Johnston Ambrose will join five other women poets from the Rochester area (Sabine Bradley; Lu Highsmith; Jennifer Maloney; Ja'Miah Smith; and Leonora Simonovis) who will each read their original poetry for ten minutes. Afterwards, attendees will be invited to share their own poetry for a limited open mic.  The event, hosted by Just Poets of Rochester, is on March 26, from 7 to 9 pm at Before Your Quiet Eyes Bookstore, 439 Monroe Ave. Please reach out to Elizabeth Johnston Ambrose (ejohnston@monroecc.edu), with questions.
