Keynote Speaker Amy Goodman, journalist, author and host of Democracy Now! Wednesday, April 29th, 2026, beginning at 12 pm. MCC Theatre, Building 4 (free and open to the public). Amy is an unwavering advocate for social justice and continues to shine a light on some of the most pressing issues of our time. Through Democracy Now!, Goodman has amplified stories that too often go unheard. She consistently champions marginalized voices, challenges dominant media narratives, and pushes for accountability from those in power. Amy’s work not only informs but also inspires audiences to question, engage, and act.

Celebration of Learning: Wednesday, April 29th, 2026, 2 pm to 4 pm. Attend the Celebration of Learning at the LeRoy V. Good Library, a Scholars' Day event where students showcase their academic and creative work to the MCC community. We welcome students from all disciplines, and the event is set up like a science fair. Students will present their work at tables, and attendees will walk around and chat with them.

No matter your interests and experience, you are guaranteed to find something fascinating and come away inspired. You have the power to add meaning to the endeavors of these hard-working scholars by showing your interest in their work.
