Policy Portal Update: Student Attendance Policy and Procedure

On February 5, 2026, the documents related to the revised Student Attendance Policy were shared via MCC Tribune following the close of the College community review period.

Additional feedback received has resulted in a modification to the Student Attendance Procedure. Specifically, the following sentence has been removed from the first paragraph of draft 3.3P Student Attendance Procedure:

“Step-by-step attendance taking processes for face-to-face and online classes in MCC’s Attendance Taking Protocol.”

The policy and the executive summary of comments remain unchanged.

The revised policy, procedure (modified), and executive summary of comments are still scheduled to go before the Board of Trustees on March 2, 2026, for a first read, with adoption planned for April 13, 2026.
