Professional Development Days: June 3 Schedule

Schedule for Tuesday, June 3:

All events are in the Forum, Building 3, Room 3-130, except noon session as noted below.

9am: Responding to Student Disclosures of Violence: Training on recognizing and responding to disclosures of interpersonal violence.

10am: De-escalation - Helping Diffuse Tense Situations: Tips on verbal de-escalation techniques and maintaining safety.

11am: Title IX: What You Need to Know: Comprehensive overview of Title IX and employee responsibilities.

Noon: Web Strategy Town Hall Lunch and Learn – Event held in the Empire Room: Overview of MCC’s website redesign strategy. RSVP required.

1pm: Making Presentations ADA Compliant: Guidance on making Brightspace presentations ADA compliant.

2pm: A HIPs Overview: Introduction to High Impact Practices and implementation strategies.

3pm: What can your Higher Ed EAP do for you?: Presentation on employee assistance program benefits and resources.

On-going June 2 through 4 Poster Session: Take a mindful pause with a gallery of quotes from meditation teachers. Journals are available to support your reflections.
