Fall 2026 Transfer Application season is here! Below are several scholarships for students transferring to a 4-year college.

For help with general transfer planning, please schedule a transfer advising appointment.

The Fannie and Sam Constantino First Generation Endowed Scholarship Program

Deadline: March 31, 2026

Eligibility Requirements:

• Recipients must intend to transfer to St. John Fisher upon completion of their Associate’s Degree program at MCC
• Recipients must demonstrate a strong sense of community service with testimony of continuous activity.
• Preference will be given to applicants in the first generation of their family to attend a post-secondary institution

Gilbert J. Hatch Endowed Scholarship Fund

Deadline: March 31, 2026

Eligibility Requirements:

• Preference will be to students in Transfer Pathways programs for RIT.
• Full-time matriculated MCC students; must maintain continuous enrollment.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 to be maintained while at MCC.
• Demonstrated financial need.
• Strong sense of community service with testimony of activity.

2026 NYSTAA Transfer Student Scholarships

Deadline: March 31, 2026

Eligibility Requirements:

• Will complete an AA, AS, or AAS degree by August 2026
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5
•  Plans to attend a NYSTAA member four-year institution in Fall 2026

Application Materials

• Personal Essay
• Uploaded unofficial transcripts (all colleges + courses in progress)
• One letter of recommendation (Word or PDF) emailed to: the NYSTAA Scholarship Committee (NYSTAAScholarshipCommittee@gmail.com)

Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Scholarships

Deadline: Varied

Eligibility:

• Minimum good standing member of PTK
• Other requirements dependent on transfer institution
