What can students expect?
We will have a few Academic Coaches, Writing Consultants, and a librarian available for interactive, hands-on support as students prepare for finals! Whether they’re organizing a study schedule or refining their final paper, our team is here to help them every step of the way. Students can expect the following:
Work with an Academic Coach
- Create a Study Plan: Plan your study sessions, prioritize what matters most, and practice strategies that help you study smarter, not harder.
Work with a Librarian
- Find Credible Sources: Learn how to locate scholarly and trustworthy materials for your papers and projects using the library’s databases and online resources.
- Refine Your Research Topic: Need help narrowing your focus? The librarian can help you turn a broad idea into a clear, manageable research question.
- Get Personalized Resource Recommendations: Receive suggestions for books, articles, and other materials that fit your topic and strengthen your final paper.
Work with a Writing Consultant
- Brainstorm and Outline Ideas: Not sure where to start? We’ll help you shape your ideas and create a clear outline.
- Craft Clear Paragraphs: Make your writing flow! Learn how to organize your thoughts and strengthen transitions.
- Citations and Credible Resources: Learn how to find trustworthy sources and master your citations with confidence.
- Revise and Polish Your Work: Learn how to identify ways to improve your draft before you submit your final paper.
Whether they come for one day or all three, Chill, Plan, and Write offers a welcoming space to plan, focus, and finish the semester strong!
