Wellness Wednesday (on a Tuesday): Gratitude
Please share with students:Join us for this week's Student Wellness Wednesday (on a Tuesday due to no classes tomorrow) as we focus on cultivating gratitude and appreciation, just in time for the season of giving thanks.
Practicing gratitude is more than simply saying “thank you.” It’s about noticing the good in our lives, big or small, and using that awareness to boost our mood, strengthen relationships, and reduce stress. Taking a few moments to reflect on what we’re thankful for can have a powerful impact on our mental and emotional well-being.
What’s Happening at This Event:
Gratitude Activity – Participate in a creative, hands-on activity that helps you reflect on what you’re grateful for and how to express appreciation to others.
Therapy Dogs – Spend time with our furry friends for a little extra comfort and joy.
Wellness Resources – Learn about the connection between gratitude and emotional wellness, and take home practical tips to make gratitude part of your daily routine.
Location: Counseling & Disability Office, Room 3-103
Time: 11:00am to 1:00pm
Self-Care Giveaways – Take home items that inspire positivity, reflection, and mindfulness.
Lunch Provided!
These weekly events are your chance to pause, recharge, and connect with your campus community. Let’s take a mindful moment together this November to celebrate gratitude and all the good that surrounds us, one small reflection at a time.
