This week’s program highlight: Electrical Engineering Technology

MCC’s Electrical Engineering Technology – Electronics (ET01) program prepares students for careers working with electrical and electronic systems used in modern technology and industry. Students gain hands-on experience working with circuits, instrumentation, communication systems, and computer-based controls while learning to troubleshoot equipment, analyze data, and translate engineering designs into real-world applications. Through laboratory work and technical coursework, students develop strong problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills while learning to test, repair, and maintain complex electronic systems. The program also prepares students to transfer to four-year engineering technology programs or enter the workforce as skilled electrical or electronics technicians in a variety of high-tech industries.

The electronics field continues to grow rapidly, and MCC Electrical Engineering Technology graduates are highly sought after, earning strong starting salaries and achieving 100% job placement in recent years.
