Red Cross Blood Drive on February 25th

Please share with students:

MCC Brighton campus is holding a Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, February 25th from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm in the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center Forum, 3-130.

In order to give blood you must meet the following qualifications: You must be in general good health and feeling well. Also, be at least 17 years old and weigh at least 110 pounds. You may only donate blood every 56 days.

Maximize your blood donation and help more patients.  If you are an eligible type O, B negative or A negative donor, consider making a Power Red donation.  Red blood cells are the most commonly transfused blood component.

Your donation is needed to help alleviate the shortage and ensure lifesaving medical procedures are not delayed.

Walk-ins are welcome however, you are encouraged to make an appointment. Please visit the American Red Cross Blood Services webpage (redcrossblood.org) and enter sponsor code: mccrochester; call 1-800-733-2767; or Schedule Your Blood Donation Online

Give blood between January 26th and February 28th and receive a $20 e-gift card to your choice of merchant. See rcblood.org/heart

You can also save up to 15 minutes on the day of your appointment by visiting the American Red Cross Rapid Pass (RedCrossBlood.org/RapidPass) to complete your reading and health history questions.
