Mental Health Awareness Month Continues

Please share with students:

Join the Counseling Center, Disability Services, and Health Services as we continue to recognize Mental Health Awareness Month throughout May. This week, we’re keeping the momentum going with daily events designed to encourage conversation, reduce stigma, and promote mental well-being across the MCC community.

Mental health impacts everyone. With one in five adults experiencing a mental health condition each year, it's more important than ever to foster a culture of support, openness, and connection.

We invite you to take part in this week’s events—explore resources, learn new tools, and help make mental health a priority at MCC.

See below for detailed agendas:

  • Tuesday, May 13th from 11am to 1pm
Resource sharing, giveaways and bagged lunches at the Counseling & Disability Office, Building 3, Room 103.
  • Wednesday, May 14th from 11am to 1pm
Join us for our final Wellness Wednesday of the semester! This week's theme is optimizing Mental Health at the Counseling & Disability Office, Building 3, Room 103.
  • Thursday, May 15th from 11am to 1pm
Resource sharing, giveaways and bagged lunches at the Counseling & Disability Office, Building 3, Room 103.
  • Monday, May 19th from 12pm to 2pm
Join us for our final Mindful Monday event of the semester and to celebrate the last day of classes! There will be mindfulness materials, activities and lunches provided at the Counseling & Disability Office, Building 3, Room 103.

Also, keep an eye out for our Health & Wellness on Wheels Wagon throughout the week around campus!
