Knife Skills and Beyond: Healthy Carbs Cooking Class

As part of Employee Wellness’ Food & Nutrition Series, join Michelle Bartell and Angela Douglas from the MCC Hospitality Management Department for a hands-on cooking class that builds upon your knife skills to create a healthy, plant-forward meal.

Discover how healthy carbohydrates play an essential role in managing diet-related chronic conditions such as hypertension, heart disease, and diabetes.

When: Friday, November 14
Time: 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Location: Hospitality Department Kitchen, Building 3, Room 140

This free event is open to all MCC employees. For your safety in the kitchen, please wear closed-toe, non-slip shoes (tennis shoes/sneakers are perfect). Feel free to bring your favorite apron!
