Upcoming Events Hosted by the Tutoring & Academic Assistance Center (TAAC) Next Week!

The Tutoring & Academic Assistance Center (TAAC) will be hosting the following upcoming events next week:

Chill, Plan, and Write

Date: Tuesday, 9/9
Location: Brighton Campus, room 11-106 (TAAC)
Time: 12:30pm to 1:30pm
Snacks and FREE planners will be provided to those who participate!
Appointments: No appointments are necessary! Walk-ins are encouraged.

What can students expect?

The TAAC will have an Academic Coach and Writing Consultant available to work hands on with students on how to prepare for a successful semester. Students can expect the following during this time period:

12:30pm to 12:45am: Students will check-in, pick up a planner, grab a seat, and begin filling out their semester schedules.
12:45pm to 1pm: Our Academic Coach and Writing Consultant will host a workshop focused on introducing our TAAC resources, time management strategies, and planner organization tips.
1pm to 1:30pm: Students will have the opportunity to receive individualized support from our Academic Coach on using their planners effectively, and from our Writing Consultant on how to prepare for their upcoming writing assignments.
1:30pm: Event concludes but students are encouraged to come back to work with our Academic Coaches and Writing Consultants in a 1:1 setting as they work through the semester.

Date: Wednesday, 9/10
Location: Brighton Campus, room 11-106 (TAAC)
Time: 11:00am to 1:00pm
