Update on ASA Strategic Priorities: Focus Forward 2027

During Wednesday’s Provost Town Hall, I invited colleagues across the College to review the progress we have made on achieving the goals of Focus Forward 2027, ASA's framework for strategic student success.

As a reminder, in May 2025 we shared a comprehensive update outlining the plan's progress after the first year of implementation. At the start of this semester, we provided an additional update highlighting continued advancement and emerging priorities. I am including those documents again here, along with a link to Focus Forward 2027, for your reference.

Proactive, transparent, and timely communication about our strategic priorities is essential. Our progress belongs to the institution — and it is only possible because of the sustained commitment, creativity, and dedication of faculty and staff across the College. 

In the coming months, we will continue to share updates on our student success efforts — particularly in terms of the new action plans for Unlocking Opportunity and SUNY's Academic Momentum Campaign — and how this work builds directly upon the foundation established through Focus Forward 2027.
