Let's Talk About the Brightspace Gradebook

As the semester draws to a close, now is the opportune moment to ensure your gradebook is not only up-to-date but optimized for final grade submissions. Join the Virtual Campus team for an interactive session where we’ll guide you through the intricacies of the gradebook. Gain insights into foundational practices, such as employing the gradebook setup wizard, structuring your gradebook logically for weighted or points-based systems, and enhancing visibility with display options.

But why stop there? Delve into advanced functionalities that can streamline your grading process. We’ll explore how to link grade columns with assignments, manage exemptions, implement grade drops, extra credit, and more—all tailored to your unique instructional and grading styles. This session will be run as a free-form discussion format, where no question is too basic or too weird!
