MCC Faculty Senate’s 12th Annual Professional Development Days begin today!

Schedule for Monday, June 2:

All events are in the Forum, Building 3, Room 3-130.

9am: PDF University: Learn how to make PDF documents ADA accessible using Adobe Acrobat. Topics include tagging, reading order, and the accessibility checker.

10am: Electronic and Information Technology Accessibility Workshop/Title II: Discussion on SUNY’s preparation for ADA Title II compliance and collaboration across campuses.

11am: Faculty Senate Information Session: Overview of Faculty Senate functions, protocols, and subcommittees.

1pm: Microsoft Teams for Productivity, Organization, and Collaboration: Workshop on using Microsoft Teams for collaboration and productivity.

2pm: Advising Redesign and Unlocking Opportunity: Exploration of new advising model and integration of Success Coaches.

3pm: STARS/Supporting Transitioning and Returning Service members: Insights into veterans’ experiences and strategies for support in higher ed.

On-going June 2-4 Poster Session: Take a mindful pause with a gallery of quotes from meditation teachers. Journals are available to support your reflections.
