Faculty Senate/College Wide Elections End Today!

The Elections for Faculty Senate President, FCCC Delegate, FCCC Alternate Delegate and MCC Association Teaching Representatives ends today!  Eligible voters received an email from Institutional Research with a link to vote on Monday.  Voting will end today Friday May 9.  The Candidate Statement for Faculty Senate President candidate was distributed to Faculty Senators on April 29, to be cascaded to their constituents.

The positions are not contested, so the voting will be to Approve or Disapprove.  The candidate must recieve a majority of votes cast for Approve to be elected.  There is no option for write in votes as per the Faculty Senate Resolutions 6.1.2.6 and 6.1.2.7.2

The slate of Candidates are as follows:

  • Faculty Senate President: Julie Babulski
  • FCCC Delegate: James (Jay) Nelson
  • FCCC Alternate Delegate: Laura Penman
  • MCC Association Teaching Faculty Representative: Jason Mahar

Results will be announced at the May 15 Faculty Senate meeting and also in the Employee Tribune on May 16.
