Important information regarding the Financial Aid Freeze date

Please share with students:

The Financial Aid Freeze date for the Spring 2026 semester is Thursday, February 12, 2026.  Anticipated financial aid award offers are calculated based on FACE (Financial Aid Course Eligibility) enrolled hours eligible towards a student's current degree program.

If a student anticipates receiving financial aid this Spring 2026 semester, they must be advised of the following:

  • They confirm that they are officially registered and attending all classes.
  • The last “business” day to make changes to a schedule or change a major and have these actions count towards current financial aid compliance is Thursday, February 12, 2026.
  • Waitlisted courses do not count as registered courses for the term.
  • If a student chooses to add classes after the freeze date, know that these credits may not increase the financial aid offers for this semester. Email FACE (face@monroecc.edu) if a student adds courses after the freeze date for further assistance.

Students can view their class schedule and confirm that all registered courses show as FACE eligible in the myMCC portal, under Registration/Registration Compliance Results.

For assistance with financial aid compliance, please email FACE (face@monroecc.edu).
