Catalyzing Bright Futures: Summer Bridge Program-Call for Support

We are excited to announce our upcoming Summer Bridge program, part of the Science and Technology Entry Program (STEP), funded by a legislative grant through the New York State Education Department, aimed at increasing the representation of historically underrepresented and economically disadvantaged students prepared to go to college and pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, health-related fields, and licensed professions.

STEP Summer Bridge Program

  • Dates: July 14 to July 31, 2025
    Location: MCC Brighton Campus
    Student Capacity: 30 students

This three-week program, running Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., will offer students in grades 8 through 11 a unique opportunity to explore STEM careers, develop college-readiness skills, and engage in project-based learning in a college environment.

The program will conclude with a Presentation Day on July 31st, where students will showcase their work to STEP families, MCC faculty and staff, and members of the college community.

We are calling on faculty and staff to help us inspire the next generation!
