MCC Leads Community Colleges in SUNY Reconnect Enrollment

As part of Governor Kathy Hochul's announcement of enrollment gains for the State University of New York for the third consecutive year, data showed that MCC enrolled the most students in the SUNY Reconnect program, with 678 students! That number represents 12% of the 5,608 students enrolled in the program statewide.

SUNY Reconnect launched earlier this year at community colleges across the state. The program provides free tuition, fees, books, and supplies for adult learners ages 25 - 55 in high-demand programs who do not already have a college degree. 

Congratulations to our incredible faculty and staff! Your dedication and passion have brought this program to life, creating meaningful opportunities and connecting hundreds of students to the resources and support they need to succeed. Every student you reach is a life transformed—thank you for empowering them to achieve their dreams.
