Feathers & Field Notes: Birding & Nature Journaling Around Campus

Take a break, step outside, and reconnect with the natural world right here on campus! Join the Tribune Trailblazers for a relaxing and enriching afternoon of birding and nature journaling, guided by special guest Erin Strobl, Professor of Biology.

Whether you're an experienced birder, an aspiring artist, or just curious about the wildlife around you, this event offers a chance to slow down, observe, and appreciate the beauty of nature in a new way. Learn how to identify local bird species, capture your observations through journaling, and gain insights from Professor Strobl’s expertise.

  • Date: Friday, May 1st
  • Time: 12 pm to 1 pm
  • Location: Building 12 Atrium near Mercer Gallery

No experience is needed—just bring your curiosity!  Please wear closed shoes and clothes appropriate for the weather, it is an outdoor event.

Special thanks to Professor Erin Strobl for donating her time and knowledge to make this event possible.

Please RSVP to the Tribune Trailblazers Bird & Nature Walk (you will need to choose the date and time)

We look forward to seeing you there!
