MCC Students Enjoy Success at Annual National Model United Nations Conference

14 MCC students recently traveled to New York City for the annual National Model United Nations (NMUN) conference. NMUN is an opportunity for students to engage with global issues in a formal diplomatic setting that accurately simulates the real-world work of U.N. diplomacy. Working alongside thousands of students from colleges and universities across the globe, delegates utilize critical skills, including leadership, research and writing, negotiation and bargaining, collaboration, and public speaking. This year, led by Head Delegate J.J. Morgano, the following MCC students represented the country of Estonia on seven U.N. committees dealing with a range of issues important to the U.N. Additionally,  Emily Carter and Caelyn Frantzen, delegates to the United Nations Environmental Assembly, received a Best Position Paper award at the conference's conclusion. Please join us in congratulating all of this year's delegates for their exceptional representation of Estonia and MCC at this year's NMUN conference.
