Heart Walk & Run 2024

Calling all MCC colleagues, students, friends, and family!  MCC is hosting the 2024 Heart Walk & Run this year, so let’s all walk together and proudly represent MCC on Thursday, June 6th. Let’s show the community how much heart the MCC faculty, employees, students, families, and friends have!

Walking is free. If you would like to compete in the run, you need to pay a small registration fee to cover the cost of timer tracking…

Some ways to participate:

• You can walk with MCC for free!  Register online for free (www2.heart.org/goto/MCC-Tribunes). It’s a beautiful 5K (3.1 mile) walk (and/or run) around the MCC Brighton campus starting at 6:00 PM.
• Register online to walk/run with a donation (www2.heart.org/goto/MCC-Tribunes).
• Form a team/club/organization to walk.
• Walk or Run “virtually." Don’t want to stick around after work for the walk/run? Go home and walk/run around your neighborhood or favorite trail.
• Donate! You can donate your spare change in the Wellness Council’s “Together We Can” change collecting can at Deja Brew.

If your department has a collection of returnable drink containers, we would be glad to pick them from you and redeem them for the donation money. It all adds up!
