Wellness Wednesday:
Please share with students:Join us for this week’s Wellness Wednesday: “Substance Use & Smart Choices”
October is National Substance Abuse Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness about the impact of substance use and to encourage making informed, healthy choices. Today’s Wellness Wednesday event focuses on helping students understand how small, mindful decisions can support long-term well-being — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Let’s come together to learn, reflect, and empower ourselves and our community to make smart choices that support a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
What’s Happening at This Event:
- Educational Opportunities – Chat with one of our RN’s and explore interactive resources that help you understand substance use, risk factors, and prevention strategies.
- Wellness Activities: Participate in a fun, calming activity to help you slow down, focus on the present moment, and reduce stress.
- Therapy Dogs – Spend time with our furry friends for comfort, connection, and a reminder that wellness includes joy and companionship.
- Self-Care Giveaways – Take home items that encourage mindfulness, stress relief, and positive habits.
- Lunch Provided!
This month reminds us that making smart, healthy choices today helps us thrive tomorrow. Let’s continue building a campus culture that supports well-being and empowers one another to live balanced, substance-free lives.
