Earth Day at the Child Care Center

On Monday, April 22nd the Resident Assistants from Office of Housing and Residential Life will partner with the Richard M Guon Child Care Center to celebrate Earth Day!  The RA’s will read the story “The Lorax” by Dr. Seuss, a tall tale that teaches the importance of taking care of the planet for everyone that lives on it.  The children will learn about the word recycling by creating a project out of recycled water and soda bottles.  Everyone will also roll up their sleeves and get a little dirty digging in the dirt getting the gardens ready for planting season and cleaning up the playgrounds.  Earth Day is all about coming together, having fun and making a positive impact on our planet!
