Volunteers Needed for Commencement 2025

We are excited to announce that the 2025 commencement will be at the Blue Cross Arena on Thursday, May 29, 2025 at 7:00pm!

As in the past, volunteers are needed to make this event successful.

Faculty Marshals and Line Commanders are needed to help align students properly in the marshaling and seating areas.  Please contact Eric Wheeler (ewheeler@monroecc.edu) or by calling (585) 292-2296 if you are interested in volunteering for either of these roles.  Please indicate your area of interest:  Faculty Marshal, Line Commander, or name a specific role.  Even if you have marshaled in the past, we still need to hear from you to keep our list of volunteers accurate.

Name Card Volunteers are needed to hand out name cards and direct students to their place in the lineup.  If you are interested in volunteering for this role, please email Patty Ornt (pornt@monroecc.edu) or by calling (585) 292-2406.

Marshals, Line Commanders, and Name Card Volunteers are to report to the Candidate's Marshalling area (located by the student check-in area of the Blue Cross Arena) no later than 5:45pm on May 29th.

Parking is available in the Civic Center Parking Garage, South Avenue Garage, and open lots in the area.
