We’re thrilled to share that Professor Jon Little has been featured in Community College Daily (September 10, 2025)! His work continues to elevate Monroe Community College to new heights.

As a driving force behind numerous grants and groundbreaking initiatives, Professor Little is not only expanding opportunities for our students — he’s inspiring the next generation of geospatial scientists and technologists. His passion for Geospatial Science and Technology (GIST) is contagious, and his impact is felt across campus and beyond.

Now, as a newly appointed SUNY AI Fellow, Professor Little is set to catapult MCC’s GIST program into the cutting-edge world of artificial intelligence and high-tech innovation. This is a major leap forward for our college and a testament to his visionary leadership.
