MCC Hosts MSCHE Readiness Rally

Monroe Community College hosted a Readiness Rally on April 21, 2025, to raise student awareness and engagement around the College’s accreditation process with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). The event was made possible through the support and collaboration of many campus partners. Much appreciation to Subia Khan for her thoughtful coordination and leadership in organizing the event and securing engaging giveaways. Val Avalone and Terry Keys from the MSCHE Leadership Team were on-site to support the event and connect with students. Special thanks to Jodi Oriel and the Student Government Association (SGA) for their partnership in planning, promoting, and donating giveaways and snacks.

Event Highlights:

• Over 100 students stopped by to engage with MSCHE Leadership and participate in activities and giveaways.
• 91 feedback forms were submitted by students,  which provided valuable insights into student awareness and engagement.
• Students shared that they appreciated being informed and involved, and reported gaining a better understanding of the MSCHE self-study process.
