Tech Tip: Saving energy

Help conserve energy over break by turning off your monitor(s) instead of relying on screen savers. Also, make sure any other device in your office is powered down. Devices such as microwaves and coffee makers (especially those with digital displays) still draw electricity even when off. Unplug those devices over break. If you unplug an office refrigerator, make sure to defrost it first and empty it of all food.
