Website Update
We are excited to share progress on the College's new website project.
On July 24, the successful migration of our existing website was completed, marking a major milestone in the transition to a modern Campus CMS platform. While the migration itself was a tremendous achievement, transforming a website that has evolved over nearly 30 years presents unique challenges. Over decades, content has expanded, processes have changed, and thousands of pages have accumulated across the site, requiring careful review to ensure accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and alignment with current institutional priorities.
Since the migration, a large cross-functional team comprised of Marketing, Web and Social Media, and the IT Web team have been working diligently to review, edit, and optimize more than 1,700 pages of content. This extensive effort involves updating information including all new photo and video, 200 pages of new content, streamlining navigation, improving the user experience, and ensuring the new website meets modern web standards. The next two weeks will be fully dedicated to content review and editing, as teams work through pages across the site to prepare for launch. Additionally, with emphasis on building a website designed for recruitment, new content was created for all academic programs, as well as departments that support new student enrollment. The new content is currently being sent to these departments for review.
To help ensure the new website launches with the most accurate and up-to-date information possible, we ask all departments to submit any critical content updates limited to essential operational information, such as dates, times, locations, registration deadlines, and other time-sensitive details, no later than Friday, August 21. Due to the intensive content review process currently underway, substantial content additions and major website changes are on pause at this time and will be addressed following the launch.
We appreciate the collaboration and support of departments across campus as we continue this important work. Thanks to the dedication of many contributors, the project remains on track, with the launch of the new website anticipated in early September. The result will be a more engaging, accessible, and user-friendly digital experience that better serves prospective students, current students, employees, alumni, and community members for years to come. More updates will be shared as additional milestones are reached.
