TCC: Kudos Gratitude Series (Day 5): Colleagues to Colleagues, Champions of Support and Service
Happy Friday! I would like to highlight colleagues who support one another and make meaningful contributions across the college—from organizing campus-wide events to supporting our students.
From MCC Colleagues to Printing Services
Michele Skelan, Jayme Gruhn, and Donna Laplante (Printing Services)
Michele, Jayme and Donna are always cooperative, always patient, and very dependable. Even when I knew that Michele and Jayme were being overwhelmed with print jobs, they somehow always managed to meet or beat my requested deadlines. Not to mention, their work product is fantastic. I don't even want to think about what I would do without Donna's help with our copy machines. All three are incredible people to work with.
Donna Laplante (Printing Services)
Donna is probably the most efficient and reliable employee at MCC. My copy requests are always done accurately and quickly. I also appreciate Donna’s patience with me when I need to ask yet again how to load color paper in the copier.
Michelle Skehan (Printing Services)
Michelle Skehan supervises one of the best resources at MCC. The print shop is a just an amazing group of people who have bailed me out repeatedly. I bring weird stuff to them, usually with a tight timeline, and they never fail to deliver exactly what I need when I need it! They are so much more than just copies and I am truly appreciative of the level of professionalism and their "can do" attitude.
From Colleagues to Colleagues
Adrienne Porter (Housing and Residence Life)
Adrienne Porter is the first face you see when you walk into the housing office. She knows everything their is to know about the housing office and anything housing related. Adrienne is able to offer students support, and goes above and beyond for her surrounding staff.
Bob Reynolds (Computing and Information Technology)
Bob is responsive and willing to problem solve. His steady and gracious support of our office has improved services offered to students as he hears our needs and offers ideas on how to best implement changes. He is a wonderful colleague!
Debbie Ake (Engineering Science and Physics)
I have been so grateful to work with Debbie every day I work at MCC. She does amazing work for our students and our department from coordinating campus-wide events to supporting students.
Gina Gugliuzza (Biology)
Gina Gugliuzza is our new Technical Assistant in the Biology Department. In her first semester at MCC, she has done a remarkable job learning and preparing labs and working with faculty! She has an incredible attention to detail as the labs were set up with great care. Thank you, Gina, for all your hard work! I am happy to have you as part of the biology department and I am excited to continue working with you! Kudos to you!
Gina Hueber (VAPA)
Gina pleasent and always willing to help where ever she can. She replies quickly to questions, finds out the answers and lights up the VaPA office. We are grateful to have such a great "Fairy Godmother" as our secretary. Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo we love you! :-)
Glenna Lechner (Chemistry and Geosciences)
Glenna brings laughter and welcomes all with a smiling face, especially during challenging times for colleagues and students. Additionally, in Glenna's role as department secretary, she goes well above and beyond to support our multiple department grants. She's the best!
