The Office of Student Life and Leadership Development present the following events for next week:  

Graduation Celebration Downtown 

  • Tuesday, May 5th from 10:30am to 1:30pm, Downtown Campus 2nd Floor Lounge & Multipurpose Room 

Come pick up your cap and gown and enjoy cap decorating, diploma frame giveaway, photo opportunities, giveaways, information from various departments and food! 

Student Government Association Senate Meeting     

The Student Government Association will be having a public Senate Meeting on Tuesday, May 5th. Feel free to join in person or via Zoom. 

Staying Up Past Your Bedtime 

  • Tuesday, May 5th, 5pm to 7pm, Brighton Campus, Monroe A & B 

Come hangout with Anime Club and Videogames Club for a fun night of watching anime and playing videogames!

Spring Fling Downtown

Come celebrate the end of the year at the Downtown Campus Spring Fling! Enjoy music, food, and activities! 

Jazz Combo Concert 

  • Wednesday, May 6th at 7:30pm, Brighton Campus Building 4 Theatre 141 

Come enjoy a Jazz Combo concert from our incredibly talented students. 

Sustainable Fashion Show 

  • Thursday, May 7th from 4pm-7pm, Brighton Campus Building 3 Atrium 

Join the Sustainability Club, Theater Troupe, and Tabletop Club for a Sustainable Fashion Show. There will be host performances at 5pm with a fashion show from 5pm-6pm. Special hosts and performances by Eva Flow from ROAR and Matt Schwartz with JPosh Productions. 

Other News:   

  • Put Your Vote in for Student Government Association: From Monday, May 4th to Thursday, May 7th, there will be a voting tile on your MyMCC Portal. Go in and put your votes in! 

  • Advisor Appreciation Luncheon: On Monday, May 4th, The Office of Student Life & Leadership Development is hosting an Advisor Appreciation Luncheon. 

  • Local Vendor: On Tuesday May 5th, enjoy a local vendor who will be supporting MCC’s ASL Club.  

  • Focaccia for MCC Travel Club: Support MCC’s Travel Club by purchasing a loaf of their delicious rosemary-parmesan focaccia for $8. They are collecting orders from April 13th until May 5th and orders will be ready for pick up on Thursday, May 7th.
