Dr. Craig Ross Appointed as Vice President of Administrative Services and Chief Financial Officer

Dear MCC Faculty, Staff, and Students,

Pending the MCC Board of Trustees’ approval on December 8, 2025, Dr. Craig Ross will be appointed Vice President of Administrative Services and Chief Financial Officer. Dr. Ross’ tenure will commence concurrent with the Board of Trustees’ approval.

Dr. Ross joins MCC after serving as the Chief Operations Officer at John Casey Construction. Before that, Dr. Ross was Foundry Digital’s Executive Director. Dr. Ross has an extensive history in higher education, including ten years at SUNY Brockport in various roles, including as the Associate Director of Residential Life and Cross-Divisional Budget Officer. Before SUNY Brockport, Dr. Ross also worked as a network analyst and business manager for facilities services at SUNY Geneseo.

Dr. Ross holds an associate’s degree from Niagara County Community College, a bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology, a master’s degree from SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica, and a doctoral degree from the University at Buffalo.

I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the search co-chairs, Dr. Mike Jacobs, Provost and Vice President Academic and Student Affairs, and Julie Babulski, Associate Professor of Biology and Faculty Senate President, as well as everyone involved in this search (listed below). Additionally, the collegewide feedback collected during finalist interviews was invaluable as I completed a comprehensive review and vetting of each finalist.
