Public Safety Employees Complete Crisis Intervention Training at the PSTF

MCC Public Safety Campus Peace Officer Jose Vazquez and Guard Matthew Baylock  recently completed Crisis Intervention Team Training at the Public Safety Training Facility. 

This 40 hour course provides attendees with the tools and knowledge to assist individuals experiencing an emotional or mental health crisis. Students will learn to recognize the symptoms of emotional/mental health emergencies, tools to de-escalate volatile situations, and the resources available to refer community members for further assistance.
