Dr. Tokeya C. Graham (ENG/PHL) Honored for Community Leadership

On Thursday, January 22, Dr. Tokeya C. Graham (ENG/PHL) received the James M. McCuller Award for Excellence from Action for a Better Community. This significant award recognizes a community leader whose record of dedicated service best reflects the life and work of James M. McCuller. She was nominated by friend/colleague, Michael Johnson (Health & Wellness).

Additionally, on Tuesday, January 20, Dr. Graham participated as a poet and artist in the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s National Day of Racial Healing, serving on the "Art Heals" virtual panel discussion hosted by the National Parent Leadership Institute.

Dr. Graham’s work at the intersection of art, healing, and community leadership reflects her long-standing commitment to servant leadership and to advancing equity and collective well-being. Through both her creative and professional endeavors, she continues to embody MCC’s principle of inspiring every day.
