Join Us: Workload Training June 15 at 12PM

Join us for a Workload Training designed to equip department chairs and support staff with a comprehensive understanding of faculty workload management, including institutional policies, workload definitions, and contractual limits for full-time and adjunct faculty.

This training will be held Monday, June 15 at 12PM in Monroe B.

During this training, participants will learn how to assign and track teaching and non-instructional workload in Banner, differentiate between onload and overload assignments, and ensure compliance with workload caps. The training also addresses payroll implications, faculty leave substitutions, and the handling of special cases such as conversions and release time.

Additionally, participants will gain practical experience reviewing and validating workload data using key reports (e.g., SIZFAC1, SIZFAC10) to ensure accuracy, identify errors, and maintain alignment with departmental workload obligations. This training is REQUIRED for new department chairs and support staff and is an excellent refresher for returning department chairs and support staff.

Open to all ASA and EDIWS.
